We are excited to announce that local musician and Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist, Josh Curnow, has become our very first Ambassador!
Our Communication and Engagement Coordinator, Katie Mutton, said it was an easy decision to make. ‘Josh has supported us at a couple of events over the years and always praised us for the work we do. Josh has been open and honest about his struggles with emotional wellbeing in the past and we believe he is the perfect person to help us promote Pentreath’.
Katie composed a letter to Josh which included many lyrics from his current Album ‘Rise’. Many songs on the album have a focus on moving forward and rising above challenges in life, which again gave Katie more reason to ask Josh to be involved.
Josh stated that he was ‘absolutely honoured and humbled to accept the incredible invitation to be ambassador and excited to be part of the team’
Katie and Josh will work together to raise the profile of Pentreath to ensure people of Cornwall know they we here to help. They will also look into ways they can fundraise. Josh has already come up with some great ideas and we are looking forward to an eventful 2023.
Staff of Pentreath are conscious that it will be a hard winter for many and they are keen to boost their Maslow fund which can be accessed in an emergency to help participants when needed. If you are participating in an event and would like to raise money for the charity, please contact the office on 01726 862727.
