Projects
The Yep! project supports young people in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, aged 16-24 who are NEET (not in employment, education, or training) or at risk of becoming NEET. It will enable them to develop the resilience and skills to make informed choices around access to education, employment and training based on their interests and skills.
This project is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
This is a partnership project which will enable young people to develop their mental health, resilience and skills to enable them to make informed choices around access to education, employment and training based on their interests and skills.
Each young person who joins the project will be assigned a 1 to 1 advisor who will support them from the start until the agreed end point, building and developing a close working relationship. We use a practical, hands on and nurturing approach to supporting young people and always place them at the centre of the provision.
