Dre's Three Peaks Challenge: Walking for Mental Health

On April 26th, the journey begins with Ben Nevis in Scotland. From there, they’ll drive to England to conquer Scafell Pike, before heading to Wales for the final ascent up Snowdon.

Why This Challenge?
Three of the team members have personally faced mental health struggles, and they found that walking together provided a natural, supportive space to talk. Not everyone feels comfortable in a formal setting, but side-by-side in nature, conversations flow more easily. They wanted to channel their love for adventure into something meaningful—raising money for a mental health charity that helps others on their journey to emotional well-being.

Training for the Big Day
Determined to be ready, the team has been training whenever they can. Their latest trek across Dartmoor threw every possible weather challenge at them, but despite the tough conditions, they pushed through—knowing that the Three Peaks Challenge will demand even more. Their next training session will take place in Yorkshire, tackling the Three Peaks there in late March.

Where Your Donations Go
All funds raised will support Pentreath’s Maslow Fund, which helps people meet their basic needs. This could mean:
✅ Supermarket vouchers so individuals can access food.
✅ Warm essentials like oil heaters, electric blankets, or coats for those facing cold weather.
✅ Clothing and transport to help someone attend a job interview or get to college.

If something is holding someone back from reaching their goals or meeting their fundamental needs, the Maslow Fund steps in to help.

Join us in supporting this incredible journey—every donation makes a difference! 💙
